Nutrition Challenges: How Companies Can React

10 juni 2020 @ 10:00 - 11:30 CEST

Malnutrition is a growing and multi-faceted global challenge with multiple complex causes. The term encompasses obesity and overweight, undernutrition and so-called hidden hunger – micronutrient deficiencies.  Every country in the world is affected by one or more forms of malnutrition. Obesity has hit the headlines recently as a risk factor for severe reactions to the Covid-19 virus.

With the increasing prevalence and costs of health conditions related to malnutrition, the role of the food and beverage sector comes under the spotlight. What risks and opportunities do nutrition challenges pose for the sector? How are companies addressing the issues and how do they perform?
