Webinar: Water in Sustainable Investing

Swesif welcomed its members to explore the critical role of water in sustainable investing, reflecting on discussions from World Water Week. With global water challenges growing more urgent, it was emphasized how essential it has become to incorporate water considerations into investment strategies.

The webinar began with Dr. Thérèse Rudebeck from WaterAid, who discussed corporate water stewardship, highlighting how businesses manage water in their operations and supply chains. She also shared insights on a new project related to WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) within corporate sustainability directives.

Following that, Ms. Corinna Chan presented SEAPAW (The Southeast Asia Partnership for Adaptation through Water), an initiative by the Singapore International Foundation. Launched in collaboration with the World Economic Forum, SEAPAW united decision-makers across sectors to tackle Southeast Asia’s water-related climate challenges.

Thank you to our speakers and members for a great event and discussion!
