Open Seminar: On the price of morals in markets – is there a financial penalty from sector and norms based exclusions?
10 november 2016 @ 10:45 - 12:00 CET
Exclusionary screening is growing in popularity among institutional investors, in Sweden and abroad. Professor Andreas Hoepner (Henley Business School and MISUM) presents new research results, based on data from the Swedish AP-funds and Norway’s Government Pension Fund-Global, on the performance implications of sector-based and normbased exclusions.
Does it come with a financial penalty, does it enhance value or does it not make a notable difference?
The presentation is followed by a discussion with Christina Strand-Wadsjö, Co-Head ESG Analysis SEB, Anna Nilsson, Head of Sustainability Swedbank Robur and Nadine Viel Lamare, Head Sustainable Value Creation Första AP-fonden. They will comment on the research results from the perspective of their own organizations, including their view on performance implications, what they hope to achieve with exclusions, and their perception of customer/beneficiary expectations.
