On 23 October, the Swedish government announced the launch of a new investigation into the governing activities of the National Pension Funds (the AP Funds). The inquiry is to be conducted internally within the Ministry of Finance. It has already been approved by the Pensions Group, comprising representatives from all parties in the Parliament.
