Personal data protection

The Swedish Forum for Sustainable Investments (Swesif) is the controller of the personal data we collect. Swesif only collects information that is necessary and relevant for our activities. We intend to protect personal data and never disclose your personal data to third parties without your consent. The purpose of our privacy policy is to make you feel confident that your privacy is respected and that your personal data is handled properly.

Collection and processing of personal data

Our processing of personal data is based on your consent to the processing when you provide us with your personal data. Any processing of your personal data will be carried out solely for the purposes indicated when the personal data was collected.

Registration for mailing

When you subscribe to our mailings, we collect your first name, last name, e-mail address, and company/organisation. This personal data is stored in our mailing list and is processed by us for as long as you are a subscriber. We use a mailing service that allows us to see whether you have opened the email and which links you may have clicked on. We also receive information if there are problems delivering to your email address.

In every mailing from us, you have the possibility to edit your data. You can also unsubscribe from future mailings, which constitutes a withdrawal of consent to personal data processing. A withdrawal will be immediately respected and we will then remove the data from our records. When sending out our newsletters, we always use technology that does not show email addresses to other recipients.

Membership registration

When registering for membership in Swesif, we collect company/organisation, postal address, postcode, city and, where applicable, billing address. In connection with the registration, a main contact person towards Swesif is indicated. The personal data collected for the contact person are name, surname, position, e-mail and telephone number. This information will be stored in our membership register.

E-mail address, name, surname and company/organisation will be stored in our mailing list. The data will be managed by us as long as the company/organisation is a member of Swesif. In case of withdrawal, all personal data of the contact person will be deleted from our mailing list and our membership register.

Registration for meetings/seminars

When registering for our seminars and meetings, we collect your name, surname, email, company/organisation and, if applicable, your position and any food preferences or allergies. This information is collected via a contact form. The application we use for the contact forms handles registrations and enables email confirmations of registrations to be sent out.

The personal data we collect for seminars and other events is needed to administer the seminar in question and, where appropriate, to send out information or any audience copies before or after the event. We therefore store your personal data for up to ninety days after the end of the event, after which the data are deleted.
