Stockholm, October 21, 2024 – Swesif, Sweden’s largest platform for sustainable and responsible investments, is strengthening its position by enhancing the organization with the recruitment of Cajsa Wiking as Executive Director and Olivia Mahr as Project Coordinator. With this new structure, Swesif aims to further develop its capacity to drive initiatives that promote sustainable investments and enhance engagement in sustainability within the Swedish market.
Cajsa Wiking brings over 12 years of experience from the finance sector and non-profit organizations, having held leadership roles at Skandiabanken, SEB, UNICEF, Operation Smile, and Global Child Forum. Her solid background in both strategic and operational work makes her an excellent leader for Swesif. “I am very excited to take on the role of Executive Director at Swesif. I look forward to collaborating with our strong network to further develop the platform to keep it relevant and valuable to our members. By building on our existing relationships and creating new opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange, we will ensure that Swesif remains the go-to hub for sustainable investments in Sweden. Engaging the next generation is crucial for meeting future challenges and opportunities together,” says Cajsa Wiking.
Olivia Mahr, with a background in communications and project management, including experience at SPP and most recently at Big Green Tree Media, as well as Swesif’s previous secretariat, will support Cajsa in developing and implementing Swesif’s projects. Her expertise in communication will be valuable to the organization’s goal of raising awareness about sustainability within the financial sector.
“This marks a significant step forward for Swesif, securing a long-term and systematic approach to maintaining our position as a leading platform for sustainable investments in Sweden. With over 20 years of experience, we are confident that Swesif will continue to play a central role in the important transformation ahead of us,” says Jennie Ahrén, Chair of Swesif’s Board.
