About Hållbarhetprofilen
Swesif's Sustainability Declarationfor Funds
Hållbarhetsprofilen (HP / Swesif's Sustainability Declaration for Funds) is a standardized information leaflet for the funds whose fund fact sheet states that the fund considers sustainability issues, and should therefore be seen as a supplement to the general fund information.
Hållbarhetsprofilen is aimed at fund investors and others, and its purpose is to provide clear and easy access to information on how funds apply various sustainability criteria in their fund management. Hållbarhetsprofilen also makes it easier for investors to compare funds that apply sustainability criteria with each other.
Hållbarhetsprofilen is a self-declaration; the information in Hållbarhetsprofilen is filled in by the fund companies and has not been reviewed or approved by Swesif. Swesif is only responsible for the format and guidelines for Hållbarhetsprofilen.
Hållbarhetsprofilen is not a certification, label or quality stamp. It should only be seen as an information standard that allows fund companies to report how their funds take into account sustainability in an industry-uniform way.
Hållbarhetsprofilen has been developed by Swesif, together with its members. It was integrated on the Swedish pension authority's fund platform in 2013 and has since become compulsory for funds with environmental or ethical aims.
Since 2018, Hållbarhetsprofilen was developed in collaboration with Fondbolagens förening. The collaboration means that the content of Hållbarhetsprofilen is adapted to Fondbolagens förening’s Standard for sustainability information from Guidelines for marketing and information by fund management companies.
The most recent update of Hållbarhetsprofilen was made in accordance with Guidelines for marketing and information by fund management companies, which was updated on September 4, 2019.
Swesif has began a project group to update Hållbarhetsprofilen and align the framework with the new SFDR standards and this work will take place during 2021.

All the completed Hållbarhetsprofilen fund declarations are assembled on Hållbarhetsprofilen's website. The profiles are also available on several fund platforms.
Joining Hållbarhetsprofilen
To join Hållbarhetsprofilen and to complete Sustainability Declarations for your funds, a contract must be concluded with Digia to access the service. Digia is the system provider responsible for all technical management and support related to Hållbarhetsprofilen for the fund management firms, the fund platforms and the pension authority.
COST
This solution is financed by the fund management firms through a monthly licensing fee. The fee varies depending on the number of funds that are reported on the Hållbarhetprofilen platform, as follows:
1-5 funds reported: 750 SEK per month
>5 funds reported: 1 500 kr per month.
The fee does not depend on the frequency of information updates.
